Born and raised in Los Angeles until the age of 14, photographer Nomi Ellenson moved to Manhattan for high school where she has remained since graduating from Barnard College with a degree in Psychology. She received early recognition for her take on beauty which focuses on empowerment and strength with each of her clients. Her work ethic with models, celebrities, and corporate clients focuses on positive reinforcement that brings out the best in each of her subjects.
Ellenson’s projects span the red carpet, fashion, corporate, and commercial worlds. Her most recent project, a book cover for the publishing company Simon & Schuster, landed on the New York Time's Best Seller list.
Ellenson currently lives in Brooklyn.
